New York, telecommute
RoR startup, strong Web 2.0 project
Do you want to be part of the next great Ruby on Rails startup? Are you excited about the power and flexibility of RoR and want an opportunity to make a some serious bling?

We have assembled a team of professionals with proven track records to build a web site that can only be described as Web 2.0 (yes, we dislike this term too) — serving a niche market that has yet to be cornered online. We predict very rapid penetration across the market, with success following less than 1-3 months after site launch.

Here is a short list of functionality that will give you an idea of the direction we are thinking:

- social network capabilities
- blog hosting capabilities
- hooks to iCal, Flickr, OpenID, Typo, Odeo, etc.
- flexible template system (for branding and independence)

For more information please be ready to sign an NDA upon which you will learn more about the project as well as learn who our team members are (all of who have proven track records).

Houston, telecommute (with trips to Houston when necessary if you live in Austin)

If you love the excitement of the startup life and you’re a great programmer and you’d prefer to use your skills to develop a compelling web experience for millions of users rather than fine tuning TPS reports all day long, then please send me your resume…

This is a very early stage opportunity, so we’re looking for great talent first with the ability to play many roles and a passion for the startup life. We’re not looking for a specific skill set at this stage, but if you happen to consider yourself a guru in one of the usual suspects such as LAMP, RoR, then even better, you can help make some of those all important platform decisions.
