Wow! Our group size doubled! We had 46 attendees, counting every head in the room.
The January 17th meeting of Austin On Rails (3rd iteration for the group) was awesome. Hal Fulton was funny and instructive with his Ruby presentation. Who knew you could parse a csv file (any csv file) and build full fledged ruby objects with search features built in with like 60 lines of Ruby?
Rick showed us all around the Rails command line. Who knew that you can do script/console -s to wrap all the db stuff in a transaction and rollback when you exit the console? Cool!
